How long will it take to build?

Typically 20-22 weeks from when construction commences.

Who arranges the building approval?

We attend to all necessary documentation and applications.

When will construction commence?

Usually 5 ½ weeks. If a Development Application is required, 8-10 weeks.

Do we have to build one of your pre-drawn designs?

Not at all. We are a custom builder.

Can we make changes to the design?

We work with our clients on the design and encourage them not to balk at making changes. It’s so important to make sure that the home is unique to them and their lifestyle.

At Contemporary Homes, the draft designing is done inhouse at no charge.

What areas do you service?

We build in Orange, NSW and its surrounding townships.

When do we have to pay to start?

Once the Home Building Contract is completed and signed by both the client and the builder, an invoice for 10% deposit will be issued. On receipt of the deposit, the preliminary work will commence i.e. soil testing, slab engineering, applications to appropriate authorities.

What will be left for me to do after we move in?

Nothing, unless the client opts to do work themselves and it is not included in the contract.
